As Quentin Tarantino's latest film Django Unchained gears up for a holiday release in North America, Columbia Pictures and The Weinstein Company have debuted the second theatrical trailer from the hotly-anticipated Spaghetti Western homage, which is crammed to the brim with exciting new footage.Set in the pre-Civil War South, Django Unchained sees the German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz; Inglourious Basterds) freeing the slave Django (Jamie Foxx; Ray) and making him a deal: help him claim the bounty on the notorious Brittle brothers, and in return Schultz will assist Django in freeing his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington; Fantastic Four) from the ruthless plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio; Inception).
Also featuring in the cast are Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers), Don Johnson (Machete), James Remar (Dexter), James Russo (Public Enemies), Walton Goggins (The Shield), M.C. Gainey (Lost), RZA (The Man with the Iron Fists), Jonah Hill (21 Jump Street), Tom Savini (Planet Terror), James Remar (Dexter), Bruce Dern (Monster) and Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace).
Django Unchained opens on Christmas Day in North America, ahead of a UK release on January 18th, 2013.
