After releasing the first Man of Steel clip yesterday, Warner Bros. debuted another from Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot when Amy Adams (The Fighter) appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The scene, also with Henry Cavill (Immortals), has been featured in the trailers, but it's allowed to breathe a bit more here (i.e. not so much epic Hans Zimmer music in the background). Check it out below...
"In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman."
Update - And here's a couple of new TV spots...
Man of Steel arrives in cinemas next Friday with a cast that also includes Henry Cavill (Immortals) as Clark Kent / Superman, Michael Shannon (The Iceman) as General Zod, Kevin Costner (Hatfields & McCoys) as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane (Unfaithful) as Martha Kent, Russell Crowe (Les Miserables) as Jor-El, Ayelet Zurer (Angels & Demons) as Lara Lor-Van, Antje Traue (Pandorum) as Faora, Harry Lennix (Dollhouse) as General Swanwick, Christopher Meloni (True Blood) as Colonel Hardy and Richard Schiff (The West Wing) as Dr. Emil Hamilton.
