Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern, Safe House) is currently in talks to star in the psychological thriller The Voices, which is to be directed by Academy Award nominee Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis) from a script by Michael R. Perry (Paranormal Activity 2).According to Deadline, the film has an unusual premise with Reynolds in talks to play Jerry Hickfang, a lovable but strange bathtub factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden murderous turn, Jerry’s evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path that ultimately brings him to salvation.
