Directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen) from a story by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins) and Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises), Man of Steel sees Henry Cavill (Immortals) donning the cape as Superman as he looks to protect Earth from General Zod (Michael Shannon; Boardwalk Empire) and his right hand woman Faora (Antje Traue; Pandorum). Also featuring in the cast are Amy Adams (The Fighter) as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner (Hatfields & McCoys) as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane (Secretariat) as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne (Contagion) as Perry White and Ayelet Zurer (Angels & Demons) as Lara Lor-Van.
