New Man of Steel featurette arrives online

As part of a cross-promotion with Wal-Mart, Warner Bros. has released a new featurette for Man of Steel; in addition to new footage from the eagerly-awaited Superman reboot, the two-and-a-half minute video features interviews with the cast and crew, including Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Michael Shannon (General Zod), Russell Crowe (Jor-El), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent), director Zack Snyder and producers Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven.

"In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. Man of Steel is released on June 14th.
