Archie Comics is GLAAD to announce that the ongoing Archie Comics seriesKevin Keller was the winner for Outstanding Comic Book at the media awards ceremony which honours positive representation of gays and lesbians. The character of Keller was created by writer/artist Dan Parent in 2010 who was in attendance to receive the award.

Kevin Keller was also expanded into a young adult novel titled Kevin which was published by Penguin Books and was included in the gift bag at the GLAAD Media Awards.
