The Internet seems to be the new home of sketch comedy, as stand-ups increasingly dominate television schedules. There's been The Fast Show, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's Funny or Die, and, just last year, Steve Coogan's Mid-Morning Matters. The latter was so successful, it's prompted an Alan Partridge movie to be released this Summer.The latest former-sitcom character to make the jump is David Brent from The Office, for whom Ricky Gervais has uploaded a teaser trailer (below) onto his YouTube channel.
Just like The Office, Learn Guitar with David Brent seems to be another piece of marvelous observation. Though where The Office lampooned documentaries, Learn Guitar mocks online tutorials.
