The countdown of "first looks" at characters from Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past continues with the director tweeting this picture of James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier with the comment "#Serpico"...
His James May inspired shirt would suggest that the X-Men: First Class timeline of the movie will be set in the 1970s as previously rumoured and planned by original director Matthew Vaughan. Anyone else think he looks like Edgar Wright?
This picture joins our first looks at Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), Storm (Halle Berry), Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Beast (Nicholas Hoult). Who's next?
From the looks of the photos, this seems to be the same set where the photo of Kitty Pryde was taken, which also featured Iceman. Could the original X-Men crew be heading back in time to the 70s?
X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently filming ahead of a release on July 18th, 2014, with a cast that also features Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Anna Paquin (Rogue) and Daniel Cudmore (Colossus). Newcomers to the cast include Fan Binbing (Iron Man 3) as Blink, along with Omar Sy (The Intouchables), Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) and Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones).
