Universal Pictures has released a new theatrical poster for the upcoming comic book adaptation R.I.P.D., which stars Jeff Bridges (Iron Man, True Grit) and Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Green Lantern) as two undead cops from the Rest In Peace Department, whose mission is to protect the living from an increasingly destructive array of supernatural threats:

R.I.P.D. is based on the comic book series by Peter M. Lenkov, with Robert Schwentke (RED), directing a cast that also includes Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Class), Mary-Louise Parker (RED), Stephanie Szostak (Iron Man 3) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break). Veteran sheriff Roy Pulsifer (Bridges) has spent his career with the legendary police force known as R.I.P.D. tracking monstrous spirits who are cleverly disguised as ordinary people. His mission?
