If J.J. Abrams didn't have enough on his plate with Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Wars: Episode VII, it seems he's looking to add another television show to his upcoming slate, with Entertainment Weekly revealing that his production company Bad Robot is in talks with Warner Bros. Television about adapting Stephen King's 11/22/63, with Abrams executive producing.
Released in 2011, 11/22/63 centres on school teacher Jake Epping, who discovers a time portal that allows him to travel back to 1958 and sets out to change history by preventing the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Should negotiations prove successful, it will become the second of King's novels to be adapted for television this year, with Brian K. Vaughn's Under the Dome set to premiere in June, and will join Person of Interest and Revolution as part of Bad Robot's current TV output.
