Filming on the Jeff Wadlow-directed sequel Kick-Ass 2 got underway in Toronto, Canada earlier this month, and over the past week we've seen plenty of spy photos from the set, including several shots of the superhero team Justice Forever, along with returning players Aaron Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz as Kick-Ass and Hit Girl. Well, now you can add another to that last, as we get our first look at Christopher Mintz-Plasse's new look villain, who now goes by the name of The Motherfucker. Hey, beats McLovin', right?
Seems the Red Mist has dropped his revised costume from the end of Kick-Ass, and is now rocking some kind of 80s metal / bondage get-up; take a look at the spy photos below, which includes Mintz-Plasse's costumed villain alongside John Leguizamo's bodyguard / chauffeur Javier, as well as a shot of a kiss between Dave and Mindy and a Justice Forever gathering that includes Donald Faison's Doctor Gravity, Clark Duke's Battle Guy, Robert Emms' Insect Man and the husband and wife crime-fighting duo Remembering Tommy:
Kick-Ass 2 is based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., and also stars Jim Carrey as The Colonel, Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy, Olga Kurkulina as Mother Russia, Andy Nyman as The Tumour, Morris Chestnut as Marcus Williams. The film is set to hit cinemas next year.
