Damian Lewis (Homeland) can be seen in a new short film for Jaguar, produced in collaboration with Ridley Scott Associates. Desirealso stars Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight's Tale) and features music by Lana Del Rey. The 13-minute commercial for the Jaguar F-TYPE, which premiered on YouTube today,is being screened as part of Sundance London's 2013 programming. Lewis channels a bit of James Bond while playing Clark, a man trying to deliver a Jaguar F-TYPE to a shady man at odds with a mysterious young woman (Sossamon). The desert setting for the film required a five-day shoot in Chile.
Lewis told The Hollywood Reporter: "It sort of fell into my lap. I've never done anything for the online market before, and I just thought it was cool to work with Ridley Scott and [director] Adam Smith. I thought the script had a kind of nod to the Americana that you find in the Coen brothers' movies."
