It's been a good week for Superman fans, what with the arrival of the latest trailer for Zack Snyder's hotly-anticipated reboot Man of Steel [which you can watch right here], and now Warner Bros. has delivered another present in the form of the first clip from the upcoming Superman: Unbound, the next entry in the ongoing DC Universe Animated Original Movies line.
The clip shows us Kal-El's first encounter with Brainiac, the destructive force who has been devastating planets across the galaxy. Superman is voiced by Matt Bomer (White Collar) and Brainiac by John Noble (Fringe), while the last also includes Castle co-stars Stana Katic and Molly C. Quinn as Lois Lane and Supergirl. Superman: Unbound is directed by James Tucker (Batman: The Brave and the Bold), who has recently succeeded Bruce Timm as supervising producer on WB's animated DC offerings.
