With 18 nominations in 9 categories, Image Comics will be well represented at the 2012 Will Eisner Comic Book Industry Awards. Stylish horror noir Fatale by Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips contends in six categories, the space opera Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples receives three nominations while the alternate history tale The Manhattan Projects by Jonathan Hickman and Nick Pitarra competes for two awards. The winners selected by comic book industry professionals will be announced at the 25th anniversary awards ceremony being held as part of Comic-Con International convention in San Diego on July 19, 2013.
