Marvel Studios may have been grabbing most of the headlines lately thanks to the impending release of Iron Man 3, but Warner Bros. has given DC fans something to shout about today by delivering the third trailer for director Zack Snyder's hotly-anticipated Superman reboot Man of Steel, which you can feast your eyes on below...
Written by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins) from a story by Goyer and producer Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises), Man of Steel sees Henry Cavill (Immortals) donning the cape for an origin story following the Last Son of Krypton as he comes to terms with his extraordinary powers and searches for his inner hero in order to save the world from annihilation at the hands of General Zod (Michael Shannon; Boardwalk Empire) and become the symbol of hope for mankind.
Also featuring in the cast of Man of Steel are Amy Adams (The Fighter) as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe (Les Miserables) as Jor-El, Kevin Costner (Hatfields & McCoys) as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane (Secretariat) as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne (Contagion) as Perry White, Ayelet Zurer (Angels & Demons) as Lara Lor-Van, Antje Traue (Pandorum) as Faora, Christopher Meloni (True Blood) as Colonel Hardy and Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica) as Henry Ackerdson.
