First look at Jamie Foxx's Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Despite getting our first look at Shailene Woodley (The Descendants) as Mary Jane Watson back in February, things have fallen pretty silent on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 front as cameras continue to roll on the Marc Webb-directed sequel. However, with the shoot now moving outdoors to a giant Times Square set, we should probably expect to see several spy photos popping up over the coming days, and The Daily Mail has got the ball rolling by giving us our first look at Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained) in full make-up as the film's villain Maxwell Dillon, a.k.a. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 sees Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker / Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) and Sally Field (Aunt May) reprising their roles from last year's reboot, while other newcomers to the franchise include Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) as Harry Osborn, Paul Giamatti (Sideways) as The Rhino and Chris Cooper (American Beauty) as Norman Osborn, along with Colm Feore (Thor) and Felicity Jones (Like Crazy), whose roles are yet to be revealed.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release on May 2nd, 2014.
