We're only a short wait away from James Mangold's The Wolverine but production of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past kicks off tomorrow. The movie sees the casts of Singer's X-Men and 2011's X-Men: First Class come together in an adaptation of the classic two issue arc written by Chris Claremont in 1981. And, as is the case in movies nowadays, the director has been tweeting pictures from the pre-production of the movie to get us hyped.
A couple of weeks ago we got a sneak preview of the new look Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and now we get our first view (kind of) of Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X.
Alongside the photo the director tweeted "picture before picture. Tomorro it begins #xmen #daysoffuturepast".
X-Men: Days of FuturePast also features Ian McKellen as Magneto, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Anna Paquin as Rogue, James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde, Halle Berry as Storm, Daniel Cudmore as Colossus, Shawn Ashmore as Iceman and Fan Bingbing as Blink, while Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage will portray the main antagonist. The film is set for release on July 18th, 2014.
