Red band trailer for This Is the End

Hollywood is going to be hit by the apocalypse this summer in This Is the End, the directorial debut of longtime writing partners Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express), and now we have our first look at the upcoming comedy via the official red band trailer, which you can watch below courtesy of Machinima.

When Armageddon begins during a party at James Franco's house, Franco and his five buddies - Rogen, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson - seek refuge amid the chaos. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside, until they are forced to leave the house, facing up their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

As you'd expect given its plot, This Is the End is packed with celebrity cameos, including the likes of Jason Segal, Paul Rudd, Mindy Kaling, Kevin Hart, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Rihanna and The Backstreet Boys, as well as Michael Cera and Emma Watson, with the last two both featuring prominently in this first trailer...


This Is the End is set for release on June 14th in North America and June 28th in the UK.
