There was some confusion last July when Marvel Studios' unveiled Tony Stark's latest armor - the Mark 47 - for the upcoming sequel Iron Man 3, seeing though he was only up to Mark 7 at the end of The Avengers. What happened to the other 39?
Well, since then Marvel has made no secret of the fact that Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark will have a whole army of Iron Man suits at his disposal when he goes up against Ben Kingsley's Mandarin in his latest solo adventure, which you'll know doubt already be well aware of if you've watched any of the trailers or recent TV spots.
Thanks to the official Iron ManFacebook page, we now have a closer look at six of Tony's new suits in the Mark 17 "Heartbreaker", Mark 33 "Silver Centurion", Mark 35 "Red Snapper", Mark 38 "Igor" (a.k.a. the Hulkbuster), Mark 39 "Gemini" and Mark 40 "Shotgun". Check them out...

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) and also stars Gwyneth Paltrow (Contagion) as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle (House of Lies) as Rhodey / War Machine), Guy Pearce (Prometheus) as Aldrich Killian, James Badge Dale (The Lone Ranger) as Eric Savin / Coldblood, Ashley Hamilton (Sunset Beach) as Jack Taggert / Firepower, Rebecca Hall (The Town) as Maya Hansen, Stephanie Szostak (R.I.P.D.) as Ellen Brandt and Jon Favreau (Identity Thief) as Happy Hogan.
