According to Deadline, Vaughn and his regular writing partner Jane Goldman (Stardust, Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) have recently completed the screenplay for The Secret Service and he will finance and produce the adaptation through his Marv Films production company. It is said to closely follow the plot of the comic book series, and 20th Century Fox have set a November 14th, 2014 release date for the film, which puts it in competition with Christopher Nolan's sci-fi Interstellar (out November 7th, 2014) and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (out November 21st, 2014). Here's the official synopsis for the comic book:

In addition to The Secret Service, Vaughn has several producing commitments on comic book adaptations over the next couple of years, including the sequels Kick-Ass 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past, as well as Josh Trank's reboot The Fantastic Four.
