Earlier today Universal Pictures released an international trailer for Kick-Ass 2 centred on Chloe Grace Moretz's Hit-Girl (check it out here, along with a character poster for Jim Carrey's Colonel Stars and Stripes), and now the teen killing machine takes centre stage once more with the arrival of a red band version of the trailer, along with a new Hit-Girl character poster:

Kick-Ass 2 is directed by Jeff Wadlow (Never Back Down) and also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Godzilla), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad), Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine), Lyndsy Fonseca (Nikita), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Lindy Booth (The Philanthropist), John Leguizamo (Spawn), Robert Emms (Broken), Andy Nyman (Black Death), Daniel Kaluuya (Black Mirror), Augustus Prew (The Borgias), Morris Chestnut (The Call) and Claudia Lee (Hart of Dixie). The superhero sequel is set for a UK release on July 19th and is due to open in North America on August 16th.
