It's like the summer of 1998 all over again, only instead of world-ending asteroids and comets we have dueling White House action thrillers, with Training Day director Antoine Fuqua's Gerard Butler (One Man Army) / Aaron Eckhart (POTUS) combo Olympus Has Fallen going up against Independence Day helmer Roland Emmerich's Channing Tatum (One Man Army) / Jamie Foxx (POTUS) double-act in White House Down. We've already has a glimpse at Olympus Has Fallen when its trailer landed back in January, and now we have a chance to check out the competition, with Columbia Pictures unveiling three posters for White House Down in the build up to the arrival of the official trailer, which has now arrived online. Check it out right here...

"In Columbia Pictures' White House Down, Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation's government falling into chaos and time running out, it's up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country."
