It looks like it's going to be a big week for The Wolverine; earlier today we brought you two new posters and a selection of stills from the Hugh Jackman-headlined X-Men solo sequel, and now director James Mangold has posted a six-second 'tweaser' for the main trailer, which is due to make its long-awaited debut on Wednesday.
Obviously with just six second of footage, it's hard to really make any judgements about the film. However, the sneak peak does offer glimpses of some of the new characters, including Svetlana Khodchenkova (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and Will Yun Lee (Total Recall) as Keniuschio Harada, as well as confirming the rumours that Famke Janssen will reprise the role of Jean Grey for a cameo (which looks to beas part of some kind of dream sequence).
“Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.”
The Wolverine is set for release on July 26th, and we'll bring you the official trailer once it lands on Wednesday.
