Last night our knowledge of who is involved in the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special grew - or didn't, depending on how you look at it. John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness) tweeted around the globe his non-involvement with the 50th Anniversary Special:
So this tells us that...
1) The 50th Anniversary Special is not a musical.
2) His announcement was a bit premature on This Morning when he said he was “discussing things” back on the 1st March 2013.
So now all we are left with for sure is the knowledge that Matt Smith (The Doctor) is starring in it. Perhaps we are looking at a one man show where he plays all the roles a wee bit like a Monty Python film.
On a side note the new series of Doctor Who starts this Saturday March 30th at 6:15pm on BBC One. For those hungry for more, watch 'The Bells of St. John' prequel minisode and trailer.
I will not be involved in the 50th Anniversary Episode of Dr WHO. JB
